In 2026, recruitment is conducted for military training under the reserve officer training program in accordance with the state order at the expense of individuals - citizens of Ukraine who hold or are pursuing a higher education degree not lower than a bachelor's degree."

Training is conducted in the following specialties:

• unmanned aerial systems;

• electronic warfare;

• special radio communication.

Military training is conducted using the "one training day per week" method.

Citizens of Ukraine who are pursuing higher education and have expressed a desire to undergo military training shall submit the following documents to the dean's office of the faculty of their parent HEI (Higher Education Institution):

an application addressed to the dean of the faculty;

a copy of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine and a certificate of registration of the place of residence;

a copy of the military registration document (for women - if available);

a certificate from the military medical commission on fitness for military service.

The acceptance of documents begins on April 06, 2026, at the dean's office of the HEI faculty.

Citizens of Ukraine who already have a higher education degree and have expressed a desire to undergo military training shall submit the following documents:

an application addressed to the chairperson of the selection committee of the military institute;

a copy of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine and a certificate of registration of the place of residence;

a copy of the military registration document (for women - if available);

a copy of the higher education diploma and the diploma supplement;

a certificate from the military medical commission on fitness for military service.

The acceptance of documents begins on April 06, 2026, at the military institute at the Department of Military Training under the reserve officer training program.

Upon admission, citizens undergo professional psychological selection, testing on pre-conscription training, and a check of their physical fitness level.

During the competitive selection process, it is necessary to have a passport of a citizen of Ukraine and a copy of the military registration document.

Entrance trials begin in May 2026.
