
The Department of Special Radio Communications trains specialists in the planning and application of radio and satellite communication systems in the interests of special intelligence units of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the National Guard of Ukraine.
It provides:
training of full-time cadets for higher education degrees "bachelor" in specialty K7 "Armament and military equipment";
training of full-time students for the degree of higher education "master" in specialty K7 "Armament and military equipment";
advanced training of officers of the tactical level of military management.
Graduates of the department are highly qualified specialists who organize and provide communication during the execution of intelligence tasks in difficult combat and radio-electronic conditions.
One of the first steps to acquiring the appropriate capabilities of the department is the formation of a wide range of knowledge and skills regarding the organization and provision of radio communication, taking into account the capabilities of the equipment, effective forms and methods of its use in combat conditions.
For the purpose of practical application of the studied theoretical material, practical field exercises and radio training are systematically conducted, which allow to form the skills of organization and provision of radio communication in various tactical and weather conditions, as well as in the case of radio-electronic countermeasures of the enemy.
An important element that completes the training of a qualified signal officer is the mastery of communications planning techniques and subordinate unit management procedures.The availability of the above-mentioned knowledge, skills and abilities among the graduates allows them to skillfully perform the assigned tasks during their service in officer positions, contributes to their professional and career growth.
Training of specialists at the Department of Special Radio Communications is provided by a team of highly qualified scientific and pedagogical workers and officers who have experience in performing combat missions, conduct theoretical and experimental research in the field of activity.
