Faculty of Professional Military Education “Leaders’ Training” was founded on October 20, 2025.

The mission of the Faculty of Professional Military Education ‘Leaders’ Training’ is to shape the personality of a motivated, competent, and proactive tactical-level military leader and to ensure the continuous support and maintenance of military leadership development processes.

The Faculty of Professional Military Education “Leaders’ Training” is the main structural unit of the Military Institute that provides training for:

• officers and non-commissioned officers in full-time study programs;

• officers serving under conscription during mobilization, in special periods, or in the military reserve, as well as reserve officers according to designated military occupational specialties;

• officers recruited from among civilians and enlisted personnel, provided they hold a higher education degree of at least bachelor level, through professional military education courses (L-1A, L-1C);

• officers who have completed the educational programs of the tactical-level command course (L-1C) of professional military education and have been enrolled in the candidate reserve for promotion to tactical-level positions with the authorized rank category of “Major” (L-2 courses).

The Faculty provides training for cadets (course participants, postgraduate officer candidates) at the initial level (short cycle), as well as at the first, second, and third levels of higher education, and for participants enrolled in professional military education courses.
